Refund Policy

Wu Osteopathy
Effective date: 1 June 2025

Wu Osteopathy is committed to providing high quality osteopathic care. This policy explains how payments, cancellations, and refunds are handled.

Consultation Fees

Consultation fees are payable at the time of the appointment unless otherwise arranged.

As osteopathic services are professional healthcare services delivered at the time of consultation, fees are generally not refundable once treatment has been provided.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we request at least 24 hours notice where possible.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, or missed appointments, may incur a cancellation fee.

Cancellation fees are not refundable, as the appointment time has been reserved.

Deposits

If a deposit is required to secure an appointment, the deposit may be transferred to a new appointment if sufficient notice is given.

Deposits may be forfeited in cases of late cancellation or non attendance.

Refunds in Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds may be considered in exceptional situations, including:

• Administrative or billing errors
• Duplicate payments
• Services that could not be provided

If you believe a refund is warranted, please contact the clinic within a reasonable timeframe to discuss your concerns.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

You may be entitled to a refund or other remedy if services were not provided with due care and skill or were not delivered as described.

Medicare and Private Health Insurance

Medicare and private health insurance rebates are processed according to the policies of the relevant provider.

Wu Osteopathy is not responsible for rebate amounts or eligibility determined by Medicare or private health insurers.
